Veterans Home Care (VHC)
Care Direct Group is proud to be registered as a Veteran Home Care (VHC) Program Provider and a Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Health Provider across Queensland. Our program is dedicated to providing essential support and assistance to veterans through our Veterans' Home Care (VHC) services. Our goal is to enable veterans to continue living independently by offering practical help tailored to their unique needs.
WHO CAN RECEIVE OUR SERVICES:
DVA Community Nursing
The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) provides a variety of in-home and community support programs to assist eligible veterans and war widows/widowers (Entitled Persons) to continue living in their home. Community Nursing services are provided to entitled persons to meet their clinical and personal care needs. The aim of the program is to enhance the independence, quality of life and health outcomes of veterans and their widows by avoiding early admission to hospital and/or residential care through access to high-quality community nursing services.
How Can I Receive DVA Nursing?
DVA Household Services
Care Direct Group delivers the full range of DVA Household Services to eligible Australian veterans, with no out-of-pocket costs. If you're living with an accepted service-related injury or condition and need help maintaining your home, we provide practical support so you can stay safe, independent, and comfortable. DVA Household Services (also known as DVA HHS) cover everyday household tasks you can no longer manage because of your accepted condition. Support may be short-term while recovering from surgery, or long-term for chronic or worsening health conditions. Our services are available nationwide, delivered by trusted, vetted Australian professionals.
